Last Friendly Match of 2024 vs Devon U18 Girls
Each year the DCVLGA gives a donation to Devon Golf to be used towards the cost of coaching girls in the Under 18 development squad so who better to play our last ‘friendly’ match of 2024 against than Devon Under 18 Girls.
Setting off down the first at Teignmouth Golf Club yesterday afternoon, we were full of anticipation for what promised to be an exciting afternoon of golf. We perhaps didn’t quite anticipate such a resounding defeat, losing 6.5 to .5, but who better to have a defeat against than these youngsters who are at the beginning of their golfing careers. With girls from both the Elite and the Development Squads playing against our DCVLGA ladies, for the most part we were treated to a masterclass of watching shots we could only dream about……..
