Devon County Veteran Ladies Golf Association

The DCVLGA, which was started in 1958, is an Association for Devon lady golfers who have reached the age of 60, are fully paid members of the Association, are members of an affiliated Devon golf club and hold a current World Handicap Index.

DCVLGA offer competitions for Veteran (V) ladies who are 60+ years, Venerable Veterans (VV) ladies 70+ years and Very Venerable Veterans (VVV) ladies aged 80+ years.

We offer a fun as well as a competitive calendar of events throughout the golfing season. As members of the South West Veterans (SWVLGA) we compete each year for the South West Counties Shield between the Lady Vets of Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.  In addition, we have annual matches against the Devon County Men Veteran Golfers Association (DMVGA), Devon Lady Captains Golf Society (DLCGS) as well as the Devon County Junior Girls.  Our annual mixed competition is the Flitch and Mixed Greensomes and many will be familiar with the Killard Leavy and Autumn Foursomes.  We also have an annual inter club knockout.
