South West Shield

The final match of our South West Shield trilogy was played against Dorset at Teignmouth yesterday in beautiful sunshine.  From the comments I received, Dorset fielded some formidable players however despite that fact, as well as battling against the wind, our team put up a great fight bringing home a 4 & 3 win.  Everyone agreed that the course was looking fabulous so our thanks to Teignmouth who are about to host the England Boys County Finals.  

So having won 2 matches and lost 1 we now wait to find out who has won the 2024 South West Shield.  I understand that it is very close and it will go to the county with the highest number of games won.  Watch this space!

I would like to thank everyone who participated in any of the three matches.  Whatever the outcome you are to be congratulated for putting up a great challenge, so very well done ladies.
